We are a family of four living in Seattle, with two boys aged 8 and 6. We love exploring the beautiful parks in Washington state and across the US. Our first book in the 'Family Trip to National Park' series was published in February 2017, and we are currently working on more books to share our experiences with other families planning trips to national parks. There are 59 national parks in the United States, from Yellowstone National Park, the first established in 1872, to Pinnacles National Park, the most recent designated in 2013. We aim to provide helpful information for families like ours who want to visit these parks with young children. Olympic National Park is the second park we have visited, and we have explored its mountains, beaches, and rainforests during multiple trips. Designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the park offers a variety of attractions with stunning scenery. To fully experience the different ecosystems of Olympic National Park, we divided our experiences into two books: Essential and Additional editions. This book includes a summary of our family's trip, a journal of our journey, pre-trip and on-trip information, helpful tips, and photos. The focus is on easy and moderately challenging attractions suitable for families with young children.
