This KitchenAid KQ909 Dual Platform Digital Kitchen and Food Scale offers high performance with its unique double platform design. It can weigh larger amounts up to 11 pounds in 0.1 oz increments, perfect for measuring flours, and smaller amounts of 16 ounces in 0.001 oz increments, ideal for ingredients like yeast and spices. This scale ensures precise accuracy for scratch baking. The two platforms can be used together or independently, with a dual reading backlit display showing both weights. Each platform also features a Tare function to zero out container weights or reset the display between ingredients. The stainless steel platforms are easy to clean with a simple wipe down, and the slim design allows for easy storage.
